Phthalo Green
Phthalo Green is an extremely concentrated pigment dispersion which easily blends into any water based material. A dispersion is a pigment that is ground or dispersed into water. Dispersions are excellent for making your own acrylic or watercolor products. Mix dispersions into any waterbased material to tint it and create a whole host special effects. Dispersion are particularly helpful for colors such as bright yellows, reds, oranges, phthalo blues, phthalo greens, violets etc. This is because organic and inorganic pigments form hard crystallized agglomerates in the manufacturing process which makes the dry pigment difficult to disperse in water. A dispersion solves this problem because the pigments are pre-dispersed in water and therefore enables them to very easily mix into waterbased mediums, polymers etc.

Features:
Phthalo Green is an organic pigment and in its dry powder form is hard to disperse due to the crystallized agglomerated nature of the organic pigment. This is why we offer it in the form of a dispersion. Heath dispersions are extremely concentrated pigment pastes that are made to mix into any water-based material, which includes acrylics, and watercolors. Organic and Inorganic pigments such as bright blue, reds, oranges, violets and yellows can be very difficult to mix or disperse because in the pigment manufacturing process, the pigments form into large crystallized agglomerates. The pigment dispersion is a pigment that has already been pre-dispersed in water and the crystallized agglomerates have been broken and dispersed. As a result of their extremely high concentration of pigment, they are a great value. Pigment Dispersions do not contain any binder and must be mixed into some sort of a acrylic or watercolor binder such as Heath Gum Arabic Solution or Heath Acrylic Polymer. It only takes a small amount of this highly concentrated dispersion to make your own watercolor or acrylic paint.
